Product Overview

      The OTN 8200 is a next-generation 200G/400G compact DWDM transmission platform featuring ultra-low latency, high density, large-capacity transport, low power consumption, compact design, and simplified operations. It provides a powerful, flexible, and reliable all-optical connectivity solution for metro DWDM and data center interconnect (DCI) applications.
      Built on an open software architecture, the OTN 8200 supports standard NETCONF/YANG interfaces for seamless integration into third-party network management systems.

Flexible Hardware Architecture with Carrier-Class Reliability

  • 2RU height design with 8 card slots, compatible with 1/4 and 1/2 size boards. Supports hybrid optical-electrical or pure optical configurations.
  • 600mm-depth rack mounting with front-to-back airflow, compatible with AC 220V, DC -48V, and HVDC 240V power inputs for diverse installation environments.
  • Redundant design for core control boards, power modules, and fan, supporting hot-swappable replacement.

  • 200G/400G single-wavelength coherent modulation with flexible grid technology, achieving >38.4 Tbit/s per fiber.

  • Optical Layer device supports 1+1 optical protection (channel, multiplex section and line) and flexible ring/chain network topologies.
