Product Overview
The OTN 8200 is a next-generation 200G/400G compact DWDM transmission platform featuring ultra-low latency, high density, large-capacity transport, low power consumption, compact design, and simplified operations. It provides a powerful, flexible, and reliable all-optical connectivity solution for metro DWDM and data center interconnect (DCI) applications.
Built on an open software architecture, the OTN 8200 supports standard NETCONF/YANG interfaces for seamless integration into third-party network management systems.

Flexible Hardware Architecture with Carrier-Class Reliability
- 2RU height design with 8 card slots, compatible with 1/4 and 1/2 size boards. Supports hybrid optical-electrical or pure optical configurations.
- 600mm-depth rack mounting with front-to-back airflow, compatible with AC 220V, DC -48V, and HVDC 240V power inputs for diverse installation environments.
- Redundant design for core control boards, power modules, and fan, supporting hot-swappable replacement.
High Integration and Large Capacity
- 200G/400G single-wavelength coherent modulation with flexible grid technology, achieving >38.4 Tbit/s per fiber.
- Supports hybrid optical-electrical configurations.
- Supports 48/96-channel MUX/DEMUX and 10G~100G service access
- ROADM/FOADM networking: 9D WSS ROADM + 4-channel TFF FOADM for flexible topology design

- 3+1 redundant fans with intelligent speed control
Carrier-Class Reliability
- Redundant core control boards, power supplies, and fans with hot-swap capability.
- Dual control boards, dual Ethernet management ports, dual IP addresses, and OSPF support.
- Electrical Layer device supports FEC encoding,QPSK,16QAM for extended transmission distance and system margin.
- Optical Layer device supports 1+1 optical protection (channel, multiplex section and line) and flexible ring/chain network topologies.
Flexible and Simplified Management and Maintenance
- NETCONF/YANG-based management with open interfaces.
- Management ports: 2×RJ-45 Ethernet, 1×RJ-45 cascade, 1×RJ-45 console.
- Supports DCN, OSC, and NM port cascading for centralized management.
- Supports Console,Telnet, SSH management.
- Supports the standard SNMP protocol, which can realize functions such as automatic device discovery, network topology management, device configuration management, performance data statistical analysis, and fault management, simplifying network management and providing users with a new experience
